From Beads to Dreams: My Journey as a Student Entrepreneur

Last January 8, 2025, I had the privilege to be one of the speakers at Cavite State University for the seminar NEGOESTUDYANTE In Action: Overcoming Adversities in Business Operation.

As the founder of KenRoseJewelry, I shared my story of starting a small jewelry business while balancing the demands of being a student. It wasn’t an easy path—there were challenges like limited resources, time management struggles, and moments of doubt. But through persistence, creativity, and faith, I learned that every adversity can shape us into stronger entrepreneurs. Standing in front of fellow students, I realized that this milestone was not just about selling jewelry. It was about inspiring others to believe that even as students, we can dream big, take risks, and build something meaningful.
